BISPHNOL-A is mainly used for manufacture of Epoxy and Polycarbonate (PC). Epoxy is used in flexible packaging materials, adhesives, laminates, and packing materials of electronic components. Polycarbonate is used as the base materials for CD/DVD and car headlights; blended plastic of PC/ ABS are widely utilized in the casing of computers, laptops, and mobile phones, and a small part is used for manufacture of Tetrabromobisphenol A as the fire retardant materials.
