This was developed with great accuracy, in order to satisfy different needs regarding the movement of delicate products. By using water or other liquid suitable for transferring, it is possible to convey whole and fragile products pertaining to the food and aquaculture industries. The UPB pumping system has already satisfied the most stringent requirements of the aquaculture industry, transferring fish species of various physiologic characteristics, in a multitude of atmospheric parameters. The UPB-SP unit is composed of a special sanitary, stainless steel centrifugal pump, which is used for the delicate and harmonious transfer of the product. This pump is supported by a sanitary self-priming pump, which is responsible for activating the pumping unit. The pumping unit system is completely automatic and autonomous, since it only requires electricity. By means of an electric panel with a frequency converter, the user can intervene manually or automatically to change all the parameters that regulate the transfer of the product, such as the quantity of the product, speed of transfer etc. The whole pumping unit is completely made in stainless steel AISI 316, as well as its components which are in contact with the product. The pump’s components that come into contact with the product are hand-crafted with great detail, in order to safeguard the product and ensure its integrity. When the right working parameters are used, it is impossible for the treated product to be damaged. All units comply with sanitary regulations. UPB combines cleaning and conveying of the transferred food product. A recirculation pump which is connected to the unit’s IT system, allows for the perfect automated control of the proportion levels between the solid product and the transfer liquid. The effect of fluid turbulence due to the adjustable flow produced inside the tank, guarantees to keep the right proportion between liquid and solid and if necessary, a perfect and easy cleaning of the product.
