shentek products 2.5” SATA HDD Enclosure to 5V Power Over eSATA cable. With this you can join fast transfer rate up to 3Gbps from your SATA II HDD Enclosure to your Laptop or Desktop, it is 5 times fast then USB2.0. The comes with 5V power by pass our 5V Power eSATA cable to 2.5” Enclosure, therefore, you do not need extra power cable or adapter for Enclosure, just needs one cable for date transfer and power. It is easy to use just like USB devices.

Power Over eSATA 5V(eSATA/USB)

It has 7 pin for SATA data transfer

4 pin for USB2.0 data transfer, it has also 5V power support. As we have USB2.0 has 5V power. The 5V power is comes from Desktop Power Supply.

Hot Swap

The product has support “Hot Swap”, it has depend on your M/B. For now, some M/B’s SATA port has supported with Hot Swap, but some has no support it. If no support Hot Swap, after you connector the SATA HDD, it will also not support with Hot Swap, too.
