The OptiQmax 4388 MFOM (Multipurpose Fiber Optical Multiplexer) is a point-to-point FOM with the highest bandwidth and superior performance in the market by using advanced TDM over IP technology. With high
integrating system design, the OptiQmax 4388 MFOM multiplexes T1/E1 and Combo-GbE (electrical or optical) signal over single-mode fiber optic, and de-multiplexes the original signal at the other end. It provides industrial leading 850 Mbps tributary bandwidth, and supports 1+1 aggregate links protection in a rugged size.

There are 4 interface slots for plugging-in interface modules. E1/T1 interface module is solid 4-tributary type, Combo-GbE interface module is solid 2-tributary type. The system can accommodate up to 4/8/12/16 E1/T1
ports or 2/4/6/8 Ethernet ports, depends on single type module deploymenet or its combinations. Hot swappable feature is also supported for tributary, aggregation and power modules to ensure service independence and
continuity.
