Features
Glow in Dark raw materials are mainly divided into short-acting and long-acting types. Depending on the characteristics of the raw materials, they produce different sustained luminous properties. In use, raw materials of different properties must be selected according to the printing properties and the purpose of luminescence.
This video mainly explains the short-acting Glow in Dark water based ink printed on paper, stimulated by UV light source. The main characteristics are fast light absorption, fast emission and shorter time of emission.
While expose in the light, glow-in-dark ink will immediately absorb & store light energy until the exposure stop; Meanwhile the glow-in-dark ink will emit the energy which will enable the ink color from colorless to be colored. Depending on the properties of the raw materials, common colors after absorbing energy include yellow-green, orange, etc. After being formulated into water-based environmentally friendly ink, it can be easily printed on paper/plastic (such as PET/PP/PC/PVC...), cloth and other non-absorbent materials.
Currently commonly used in the following product applications
- Cultural and creative products: luminous cards, luminous paper cups, luminous stickers
- Glow in Dark items: such as luminous film, etc.
- Bright safety signs in the dark: If there is no lighting direction indicator in a closed environment
- Security printing: confidential documents
Water-based luminous ink is suitable for screen printing, flexographic printing, gravure printing, spraying or hand-painting, etc., depending on the properties of luminous powder. It is VOC-free and is good for maintaining user health, working environment safety, global environmental protection, and carbon reduction. contribution.
