EVVBMU-M2010 HDBaseT HDMI KVM Extender, Dual HDMI KVM Extender over CAT.x with IR, Serial, USB, supports 3.5mm analog stereo audio for speaker and mic and SPDIF digital audio. EVVBMU-M2010 transmits 2 uncompressed 1080p HDMI video up to 90 meters through a single CAT.x cable. The KVM extender provides Auto/Copy EDID management and complies with HDR and HDCP.
Unique bidirectional audio extension function within the Rextron KVM Extender and Video Extender can independently transmit 2-way audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa.
To provide an optical digital audio transmission solution, Rextron KVM Extender EVVBMU-M2010 is equipped with novel Toslink optical fiber connector used for sending a digital audio stream from the input of the Transmitter unit to the output of the Receiver unit. Toslink digital optical audio extension prevents the audio stream delivery from electric and magnetic interference and such optic connector supports most of the commonly seen studio audio equipment such as video game console, Blu-ray disk player, and AV receiver.
Bi-directional IR extension feature supports full frequency IR signals from 38KHz to 56KHz. Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via CAT.x cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration.
4 USB 2.0 ports on the front and the rear of each unit (Tx/Rx) suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals connection, and the USB OTG function allows Tx/Rx (Host Switch) to switch back and forth between the roles of host and device.
