Line-Start Synchronous Reluctance Motor(LSSynRM) is different from Induction Motor(IM). It has been studied in various countries but TECO is the first to seize LSSynRM market and put effort into research in the country. We improve LSSynRM rotor design in order to create high efficiency. And the manufacturing method is almost the same as IM in stack electrical steel sheets and die-casting processing. So the structure is robust and the cost is also taken into consideration. TECO has been manufacturing motors for more than sixty years and is ranked among the top five industrial motor manufacturers in the world. This year, we focus on the development of LSSynRM, which is fixed-frequency use product. According to statistics IEEE, 44% of motor failure components come from bearings. LSSynRM can reduce bearing temperature by more than 10 degrees, so service life of bearings can be improved. Not to mention that we can change IE3 rotor to IE4 LSSynRM rotor easily.
