To develop the nanometer macromolecule (high polymer) composite material is the new trend of world industries. It means that we put the nanometer size of inorganic substances into the high polymer and makes this composite material increased the rigidity and gas blocked, also decreased the factor of thermal expansion so does the corrode of the solvent than the original high polymer. And this composite material can be applied widely in the commodity sector of the industries such as auto Parts, packing material, plastic products, fiber products… etc. In order to improve the products’ quality, we had developed the Nano Al-Si powder for easy application in the polymer like PU, PVC, ABS, PET, PP, Rubber, Epoxy, Coating material to increase the strength, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, UV resistance of these polymers. Al-Si powder is the shape of slices structure in thickness 1~10 nanometer, length and width 300~1000 nanometer, Because the strong gravity between this nanometer inorganic substance and the polymer and also because of the slices shape (very good Aspect Ratio), the efficiency of the water resistance, heat resistance, UV resistance, oxidization resistance will increase. It makes sure this Nano polymer composite material far more better than the original polymer. Also because of no any heavy metal particle contained, this Nano composite material will not have any environmental protection regulation violating problem. Nano Al-Si powder could improve the epoxy resin for better heat resistance, moisture resistance, abrasion resistance and UV resistance and become very suitable for epoxy encapsulation resin use specially for lead free coating purpose.
