High Performance Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer
TGC-QM
TGC-QM product is an ester type polycarboxylate based polymer developed by Taiwan Gwan Chian Industrial Company. This product exhibits higher water reducing ability and low slump-loss. They allow the production of concretes with high fluidity and high workability or to reduce the water to cement ratio of concrete. It can be used in common concrete, self- compacting concrete, high strength and high performance concrete.
Production Characteristics
1. High water-reducing ability, the water reduction rate of cement mortar is about 30%.
2. Good slump retention ability.
3.Excellent compatibility, especially for mixing fly ash and slag.
4.Chlorine-free, low-alkali, no corrosion of steel.
5.Environmental friendly product, no formaldehyde and other toxic component.

Usage
1. TGC-QM product is sold as raw materials. It is not suggested to use TGC-QM product directly in concrete or other materials without formulation blending.
2. The dosage of TGC-QM product is suggested as 0.15 – 2.0%. Dosage rates could be different depending on the concrete properties, so it is recommended to perform trial mixes to confirm proper dosage rate through test.
3.TGC-QM product can be mixed with retarder, early-strength reagent, defoamer, air-entraining reagent, lignosulfonate and so on, to meet applicable requirements for many concrete applications.
4.It is not suggested to compound TGC-QM product with suphonated naphthalenes or sulphonated aminophenol water reducing admixtures. Unreliable rheologic behaviors may be experienced.
Water reducing ability
The cement mortar test data for TGC-QM product is showed. It was obtained according to the China National Standard Method. The experiment chose Taiwan cement company Type I cement.
Packaging and storage
- TGC-QM productis available in 200 kg package. Other special package can also be available according to prior consultation.
- Dry and well ventilated warehouse is needed for storage. Keep container closed when it is not in use. Do not store the product directly under sunlight.
- Quality guarantee of TGC-QM productis six months under normal conditions. If storage has surpassed the time, test must be done to confirm the validity.
Health and safety
- TGC-QM productis low alkali, non-toxic, non- hazardous and non-corrosion liquid. It is friendly to ecological environment.
Once contacted to eyes and skin, wash immediately with plenty of water for minutes and consult physician if irritation persists.
Inedible. When eating by mistake, drink sufficient water to urge to vomiting, and then go to hospital.
