K2 Gateway / P2 Node are both light pole control units and easily installed on the luminaire with standard NEMA sockets without any modification to existing equipment. Both can control the LED driver or the electronic ballast to adjust the brightness and even turn on/off. Except for data transfer as a gateway, K2 is also with same node function as P2. Both provides various measurements, such as luminaire parameters and maintenance status. K2 & P2 send all the data from the lights to the CMS platform and receives command to control the luminaire remotely. With an easy installation, it could make a normal street light into a smart street light. This system puts all connected street lights into a network, provides users with a user-friendly web based platform which is able to monitor and manage the lighting remotely in real-time. Moreover, it is able to pre-set dimming schedule individually or by group and also manually dimming a single light or in group kǎ in different circumstance. K1 & P1 smart lighting controller together with City Keeper CMS platform help the authority to get the alert to fix it before real disaster and to reduce the maintenance manpower.
