Content Guideline
At Poter we support excellent Australian local businesses by providing an online channel to tell potential customers why your business is unique. In addition, Poter is an Aussie directory, connecting consumers with retailers and service providers all around the country. It’s our mission and vision of making YOU benefit from Poter.
The user article submission Poter’s introducing now targets local businesses to share various contents with any other poter. We want you to feel safe when using Poter. As such we’ve set up this content guidelines, outlined below. The standards will help you understand what type of contributions are encouraged, and what content is not allowed and will be rejected or removed by us. To ensure all the contents are helpful and informative, Poter reserves the right to apply these guidelines at our discretion, including those that have already been published.

- Criminal Activities
- Fake News
- Financial Services
- Malware
- Religion
- Adult: Includes but not limited to adult products, adult nudity and sexual activities
- Regulated Goods: Includes but not limited to alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco-related products
- Inappropriate Language: Includes but not limited to hate speech, violence, threats, bullying, harassment, lewdness and other displays of bigotry
Privacy
Avoid identifying individuals in your posts without their explicit consent unless you are referring to service providers who are commonly identified by or commonly share their own full names.
Intellectual Property
We ask you to respect copyrights, trademarks, and other legal rights. Any plagiarized content without clear disclosure of authorship will not be allowed.
Moderations by Poter
Our team go through your contents submitted against these guidelines before we publish them. It may take 48 hours. We will send further notifications to you via email. Please keep an eye on it.
As much as we want to reflect your style of communication, we will not edit grammar, punctuation and/or use of capital letters unless it undermines the readability of the content or if we are asked to do.
However, when we notice the above-mentioned guidelines are not followed, we will do our best to get in touch with you to edit or revise it. If, unfortunately, that fails, we may either not publish it or edit out the parts that don’t meet our standards, while keeping the remaining helpful information.
